I'm thinking of coming here! One concern, your "Spam Check" requires people to know math.

You must do your own HTML coding. Your site really shows that you have a sense of pride in everything that you do. You must spend eons of time working on your website and keeping it updated. What a terrific job you have done. Very impressive!

We just returned from a day of mining and we enjoyed every minute of it. It is hard work, so you have to go in with the right frame of mind. You should prepare yourself for swinging a pick ax at high altitudes, and even if you don't find nice opals, like we did, it is all worth it.
The countryside is beautiful, and the owners enthusiastic and extremely helpful.
We stayed overnight and enjoyed the night sky. Being able to see the Milky Way is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
We are already looking forward when we can return.

We visited the mine and stayed at the RV park in mid September. We had a blast. Along with our daughter,we dug throuth tailings.Got down and dirty and by the end of the day we had collected several usable pieces. We look foreward to visiting again. This was an amazing trip. Highly recommended for all ages. The staff was awesome.

I stopped in on my way home from CA. Jake was kind enough to help me out and made my experience even better than I hoped for. I obtained some amazing specimens. I'll definitely visit again!!

We obtained some fluorescent and moss opal from the Royal Peacock mine and processed a few nice pieces in a rock tumbler. We got some really nice stones with great flourescence. You can see photos of them on our blog at RockTumbler.com/blog/

After years of hearing about this mine we're finally heading that way at the end of August on the long weekend. We will be pulling in late on Saturday and throwing up a tent. Can't wait!

We plan to visit your mine the 2nd week of September... another "rock hound" couple and ourselves. Your web site is great... hoping to have some "good luck" digging!

Just returned from a visit to the Royal Peacock mines. Had a great time. Julie and the mine hosts taught us alot! I'm soaking my beautiful finds in water now and will put them in mineral oil once all the sediment has come off. We have display specimens and possibly some jewelry pieces. We're happy miners! We'll look forward to seeing you again!
